What Should I Know About This Dive?

Did you know that S.C.U.B.A. is an acronym?  It stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.  See, you’re already halfway to becoming a SCUBA diver!

This dive is incredibly fun, and quite an adventure indeed.  Breathing underwater while swimming around with the fish, the turtles, and… the sharks!

Ahh, yes, sharks.  True, they are dangerous, but not usually to humans.  As they say, you’re more likely to be struck by lightning than to be the victim of a shark attack.  It just doesn’t happen that often.  So yes, it’s important to be aware of the potential for shark attacks, but such awareness should not devolve into fear.  It’s 99.9% safe!

The bigger risk is you (through inexperience) running out of oxygen under water.  That’s why you need proper training.  And that leads us to the next step.
