First steps?  You have to know biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology.  These are the first steps.  So if you haven’t taken these classes at the high school, it’s time.

Next, consider where you would like to work?!, how much you want to (can) pay for school, whether there are nursing schools nearby, and if you are ready to devote the time and dedication needed to succeed.

Once in school, do not procrastinate & cram.  These things won’t help you in nursing at all and are bad habits that will follow you to your hospital (which is not good).  You have to take a sip of your nursing pot every day, from the first day in nursing school until the day you resign from your place of work.

Most importantly: don’t give up.  We know nursing is overwhelming, but whenever you feel like quitting, just remember why you started in the first place.  Always remember that it is a worthy career helping your fellow man...

Last but not least, don’t forget to have fun.  We wish you success, and… hope you will join the Break Diving Nursing Community too!  Once you do, go to the net page and investigate some of the many resources we recommend!
