1. When and Why Did You Decide to Pursue This Dive At This Level? What was your inspiration and motivation?
While I was enrolling in my classes in the second semester of my third year at my university, I was looking for Italian or Spanish courses to take but I didn’t find them at all. The only language that I bumped into by mistake that would complete my graduation requirements was the German language.
I felt a little down at that moment but after starting German classes I started to fall in love with this language day after day. Since then I’ve decided to actually learn it and become a fluent German speaker.
2. How Long Did It Take For You To Accomplish This Dive At This Level From The Day You Decided To Pursue It, And Why Did It Take That Long?
It took me just a couple of months to learn the basics, but it took me a while to really get started because I was more excited at the time to learn either Italian or Spanish but I couldn’t, so I wasn’t sure about learning German at all.
3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).
I feel sometimes that the German language is so masculine. The language is so harsh sometimes and not gentle or elegant when compared to other languages. There are a lot of intense letters and words that I heard from my friends that made the language so repulsive to me.
As the saying goes, never judge before you try something. When I attended my first German class, it was not what I expected. The language was like harmony to me. The way the letters were pronounced was so beautiful. How they came together to create new, strange words that I never heard before was amazing.
After every class, it was getting way better and at that moment I realized that I wouldn’t regret my decision. In the end, I started to look for more resources to improve myself in the German language because the book from the university was for 6-year-olds and only covered letters, numbers, and some very basic words.
