1. When and Why Did You Decide to Pursue This Dive At This Level? What was your inspiration and motivation?

I decided to pursue this dive all the way back in 2017 after my dog died. I was devastated because I had saved him back in 2015 and despite all the problems he went through in those two years (kidney failure and hind leg paralysis) he stayed strong till the end. After this I needed something to take my mind of his death. So I started a YouTube channel and wanted to in this manner forget the sorrow I was going through. After a while when my YouTube channel got deleted due to copyright issues, I had to clear my mind for some months and get over his death with therapy. This year, when I started my new channel, my little angel Felix is my grand motivation and I’m sure he’s guarding over me and my channel from all the way in dog heaven.

2. How Long Did It Take For You To Accomplish This Dive At This Level From The Day You Decided To Pursue It, And Why Did It Take That Long?

About 1.5 years ago, I started getting into YouTube videos. I was sadly enough blinded by the thought of getting rich by it, and a hard reality struck when I noticed it wasn’t going to be as easy as just uploading cheap quality videos and stealing music from others without giving them credit. This was the behaviour that got my first YouTube account deleted.

I waited a few months until around the start of this year, and then I decided to go and make another run for it, trying to behave a bit better. This time I was motivated. I had better gear, a better microphone, and I was a bit better at gaming (I based my new channel around Minecraft). I made some friends over on the gaming chat platform called ‘Discord’ and have since then participated in big events and have been in multiple livestreams with friends on their road to 100 and 200 subscribers.

I also took care that they got their goal every time by broadcasting the news and sub goals on all my platforms online.

I personally have not uploaded to YouTube in a while due to burns on my hand which are pretty much healed today. So I might pick it up again. And today I felt the urge to knock it up a notch and get it going on a higher level because my motivation is higher and stronger then before.

3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

The hardest part was for me figuring out all the settings and uploading details on Youtube itself. I had troubles uploading my first livestream (which failed miserably) and when uploading videos to my (first deleted account), I had problems knowing what everything meant. So I decided to read instructions online and follow tutorials. After lots of learning, I knew that I could come back stronger and smarter than when I started. So now with my new channel I hope to be able to dish out some better videos than before.

4. What Was The Easiest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

The easiest part was the making of my channel. I thoroughly enjoyed designing the banner and the whole learning process of setting up my ‘Studio’.

5. What Is Your Advice For Someone Who Is Pursuing This Dive And Level?

Take your time to learn everything through and through. The smallest details will be of the greatest help sometimes. If you are unsure, look up instructions both in written and in filmed form. YouTube video instructional have been the most helpful to me personally and have taught me things I thought I’d never learn. So my personal advice is to take your time and learn. Most of all, be patient because all good things come to those who wait.

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).

One day I decided to join a friends’ livestream and record it at the same time from my point of view.

So I set up everything and got into the game for about 2 hours.

Everything was a lot of fun and I kept saying how happy I was to finally be recording with my friends.

At the end the big blow fell: my movie maker and screen recorder both crashed and stopped without giving me a warning.

I was horribly ashamed and had to call my friends to tell them what happened.

In the end, we just had a good laugh about it, but since that time I’ve enabled all crash and stop reports to be shown if something should happen!
