From deciding to go to actually standing in Makkah took  two months. Most of that time went into sorting out the visa and travel documents and saving for the trip. The paperwork and booking were the slow part once those were arranged, the journey itself came together quickly.

3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

the visa process and the nerves of traveling internationally for the very first time wasn't that easy as there was many info that was missing on my sicde.

Do not let the paperwork scare you off. Start the visa and documents early, keep copies of everything, it is easy don't be scared.

6. What Are Some Of The Best Resources You Recommend to Those Pursuing This Dive At This Level, And Why Do You Recommend Them? Please Include Relevant Weblinks, If Applicable.

Nusuk, the official Saudi platform, was the most useful for booking the Umrah permit and understanding the requirements. A simple maps app was the other essential, for finding my way between the hotel and the mosques in a city I had never seen before.

Resource 1: Nusuk (Official Saudi Umrah Platform) - The official Saudi government platform for booking Umrah permits, hotels, and services. It was the clearest way to understand and complete the official requirements for the trip as a first-time traveler.

Resource 2: Google Maps - Essential for navigating an unfamiliar city, finding my way between the hotel and the two mosques, and judging walking times and distances in the heat.

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).

I got lost at the airport as I forgot where is the car we will take to makkah so I kept searching for 40 mins straight as at this stage I didn't have a SIM to contact anybody.

8. What Evidence Did You Submit to Prove You Met the Requirements for This Dive and Level?

I am attaching two photos I took myself during the trip: one inside the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Madinah, and one of the Makkah Royal Clock Tower beside the Grand Mosque in Makkah. Both show that I was physically present in Saudi Arabia, a foreign country, which meets the Level 1 requirement of having been to one foreign country.
