1. When and Why Did You Decide to Pursue This Dive At This Level? What was your inspiration and motivation?

I'm working as a Full Stack Developer for the past 5 years. for 3 years I have worked in TCS. I have worked with Java, JavaScript, Python, Frameworks like Express.js, Spring Boot, Electron.js, React.js, etc. and for the past 2 years I'm working as a Freelancer. so, I'm having a thought again to go and work in a company where Engineering skill is mostly valued and where I could learn more from the team and contribute my part very effectively to them. and last year around June I found an opportunity to learn the Internals of Android from an Esteemed Teacher named Amit Shekhar. and I applied and got accepted. from that moment I'm trying to learn Android and participate actively in his classes as well.

2. How Long Did It Take For You To Accomplish This Dive At This Level From The Day You Decided To Pursue It, And Why Did It Take That Long?

It took around few weeks to achieve this level Because I'm already an experienced Developer who knows many languages, frameworks and tools. so, it was easy to Grasp. but, to become master of any technology you need to dig deep. So, I'm trying my best to be consistent with my studies and I want to become a very Expert Android Engineer.

3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

Staying consistent was and is still the hardest part for me. and also when I'm switching from Java to Kotlin to learn latest Android practices. it is also a little bit hard. due to the many layers of abstraction that Kotlin introduces over java. even though its a bit hard to grasp at first, it will make the whole development process easier for an Android Developer.

4. What Was The Easiest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

Since I already have a lot of experience with Programming concepts and Basic knowledge of computer science it helped me to achieve an intermediate level quickly. and finding resources to learn android was also very easy.

5. What Is Your Advice For Someone Who Is Pursuing This Dive And Level?

1. When you learn, go deep. find out the underlying issues in the system. practice debugging. first in your mind or in a pencil and paper. then in the computer.
2. There is no need to pay to Learn Android up to an intermediate level. The Android teaching materials provided by Google is Superb and will always be up to date.
3. If you're trying to learn anything related to Software in 2026 or after that. you need to learn a skill that can't be easily replaced by AI. and those skills are mostly about Building reliable systems. so, thinking in systems is the best thing to do these days.

6. What Are Some Of The Best Resources You Recommend to Those Pursuing This Dive At This Level, And Why Do You Recommend Them? Please Include Relevant Weblinks, If Applicable.

2. buy or download Head First Android book 2nd or 3rd Edition. (may be better to start from Head First Android. very easy to read and fun)

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).

I think the Journey itself is the Adventure. There is nothing more adventurous than that, and it's kind of an adventure for me because I am doing it on my own. Don't have any one to keep things in track for me. So, I need to be accountable with myself. Very hard thing to do. But, I'm trying to be better at that.

8. What Evidence Did You Submit to Prove You Met the Requirements for This Dive and Level?

9. Will You Be Pursuing The Next Level For This Dive? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why Not?

I will surely pursue the next level of this dive, because that is the path I'm choosing for my future. I have all the resources to do it, and there is a lot to learn in Android which helps us to make the Application experience for the user better.
