1. When and Why Did You Decide to Pursue This Dive At This Level? What was your inspiration and motivation?

I decided to pursue this dive in September 2022. I realized how short my life will be and noticed that time was passing way too fast. These thoughts  (life is short) encouraged me to pursue this dive at this level.

2. How Long Did It Take For You To Accomplish This Dive At This Level From The Day You Decided To Pursue It, And Why Did It Take That Long?

It's hard to say because working consistently on such habits is a journey full of ups and downs. So I'm not sure how long it took to be able to stay positive for an entire week.  But I've used techniques I've learned over the years.

3. What Was The Hardest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

Letting go of old habits and sticking to a new healthier routine.   I am a really bad sleep routine, and I have to not only set alarms for when I must wake up, but also for when I must go to bed.  My family knows of my difficulties with sleeping and helped me to manage better.  I blame it on high school for telling us we need 8 hours of sleep and yet give us 16 hours of homework.

4. What Was The Easiest Part About Achieving This Particular Dive Level?

The determination I had and the support of the people I loved helped me to keep my spirits up.

5. What Is Your Advice For Someone Who Is Pursuing This Dive And Level?

1- Know that staying positive won't be easy, nor quick, but it is worth the work you'll put in!
2- Go easy on yourself: you're a human being, not a robot, so you won't be perfect all the time and that's okay, because that's the beauty of life.
3- Set reasonable yet challenging goals for the week, and know up front that you will encounter difficulties.

6. What Are Some Of The Best Resources You Recommend to Those Pursuing This Dive At This Level, And Why Do You Recommend Them? Please Include Relevant Weblinks, If Applicable.

7. Tell Us A Story Of One Of Your Adventures While Pursuing This Dive (At This Level).

After working hard on something, I got offered one of the most significant opportunities in that field.  It was basically the dream of every athlete. But unfortunately, I got injured and couldn't make it. That was devastating but I did all that I could, and in life, things happen.  I guess it just wasn't meant for me this year and I realized I had lost the opportunity forever.  So, I thought to myself, "Malak why waste your time and feelings on something you have no control over?"   Surprisingly, that thinking helped me to get over it in just a few days.  The point is, faith is what keeps us going. It was an interesting adventure, and it taught me a lot.

8. What Evidence Did You Submit to Prove You Met the Requirements for This Dive and Level?

All of my interactions with other members on Break Diving.  Further, Monroe confirms that every time he sees me on zoom meetings, I am (surprisingly to him) always in a good mood and smiling.

9. Will You Be Pursuing The Next Level For This Dive? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why Not?

Yes, because it makes me feel less anxious and therefore happier to actively try to stay positive.

10. What is the Break Diver's Creed?

No Rules. No Excuses. No Regrets.
